OIL LEVEL SENSOR > REMOVAL

1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL

  1. Remove the oil filler cap.

  1. Remove the oil drain plug and drain the oil into a container.

  1. Clean the oil drain plug.

  1. Install the oil drain plug with a new gasket.

    Torque:
    38 N*m{ 387 kgf*cm , 28 ft.*lbf }



2. REMOVE NO. 2 OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the oil pan drain plug and the gasket.

  1. Remove the 10 bolts and 2 nuts.

  1. Insert the oil pan seal cutter blade between the oil pan and No. 2 oil pan, and cut off the applied sealer. Remove the No. 2 oil pan.

3. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR

  1. Remove the 5 bolts and the engine oil level sensor.
